Q: Will this tip fit in a Anderson manufacturing am10 308 rifle I already ordered a standard size and it was to big and my bolt and charging handle kept getting stuck

A: If you tried a standard firing pin they do have a larger tip and won't fit the bolt. I'm not familiar with what AM is doing for bolts, but if they are using a HP Bolt Assembly then you would need the HP Firing Pin. If you are unsure you could call AM or email them and ask if their .308 rifle bolt assemblies require a proprietary firing pin or if it's a HP firing pin.

A: Our .308/AR10 Firing Pin for HP will fit the Aero Precision Bolt Assembly as it is the .068 tip.

Q: To be clear, these firing pins have the smaller (.0645" or 1.66mm) tip diameter? I have an Aero Precision high pressure AR 10 that requires the small diameter firing pin. I already had to return a standard AR 10 pin for this reason and would like to double check with you guys. Thanks for your time. I appreciate it.

A: The tip is 0.068. We have been manufacturing and selling HP firing pins for a few years and have not had any complaints with various HP Bolts.

Q: Will this pin work in a Bear Creek Arsenal AR10?

A: BCA uses a HP Firing Pin in their AR10. When you look at their AR10 BCG they are for AR10/6.5 Creedmoor, the 6.5 Creedmoor uses a HP firing pin so a lot of manufacturers have started to make both their AR10 BCG compatible with 6.5 Creedmoor so have switched over to HP bolt assemblies and HP firing pins.
