A: Yes we highly recommend using our .308 uppers on Aero's M5 lowers since we use their M5 uppers.

A: Sorry we missed your question and not answering in a timely manner, but out of stock means one or more components are missing to complete this build. I believe we are waiting on handguards to come back in stock with Aero.

A: Standard carbine .308 with the 5 oz. .308 buffer. It fits the standard AR-15 carbine receiver extension a.k.a. buffer tube.

A: JP Silent Capture Spring is not compatible with our bolt carrier buffers. In order to use JP Silent Capture Spring, end-user would need to make modifications to the carrier's integrated buffer.

A: Yes, requires a DPMS Pattern complete lower with buffer tube.

A: They should come available in April, so sometime next month.

A: We added more in stock, so normal build times is between 1 to 2 weeks for all uppers, but we ask up to 3 weeks as we build and test fire each upper that leaves us.

A: .308 Piston Upper Guaranteed to Fit Aero Precision M5 .308 Lower but are designed to fit .308 DPMS Patterned Lowers.
Due to Variances between Manufacturers, we can't guarantee a perfect fit with other manufacturers lowers. This comes with only the buffer tube, you would need to purchase the spring and buffer separately.

A: We prefer either C Products Defense or Magpul.

Our uppers are built off Aero Precision M5 Upper Receivers,
Designed to fit .308 DPMS Patterned Lowers, we do recommend Aero Precision M5 Lower Receivers. We can do 18" or 20" but they have to meet specifications to fit the gas block so if you have a barrel in mind we would need to review it for compatibility or we can get in some Ballistic Advantage barrel.
