Q: I see the 11" piston upper is built to order, and currently sold out. What is the estimated build/backorder time if I were to place an order?

A: We are not taking backorders at this time on any upper that we can't secure barrels for. Right now we can't secure barrel blanks to run more barrels.

Q: What is the difference between L.P.R. AND C.A.P.S.

A: There is no recommendations other than this setup is best ran with a standard buffer and carbine spring or a
H2 buffer and carbine spring. While I don't have an exact weight at the moment (these are built as orders come in, not on the shelf) they are just over 4 lbs.

Q: Are there any other BCGs that can work in this upper? Not that I want to consider doing that...but what if you (BRA) went out of business and I need another in the future?

A: No piston carrier is interchangeable with another piston manufacturer's piston carrier....we all call out different specs. The bolt carrier is the least likely component to break. If you needed or just have to have one then you can always purchase a spare. We have been selling our Patented Piston systems for 11 yrs and we have never had to replace any components on our systems other than 1 customer's op rod return spring that had a premature failure and this spring if it does fail will not stop the rifle from functioning if needed under an emergency. Our customer didn't even know it had broken until he got home from the range to break it down to clean.
