Q: Can this bolt be used in a piston ar (as is)?

A: We use these bolts in our piston and direct impingement builds. As long as your piston rifle uses a mil-spec bolt assembly you should be good to go.

A: Yes, we use them in our piston rifles. The bolts are mil-spec dimensionally and should be able to be used in any AR-15 upper unless a piston upper utilizes a proprietary bolt assembly.
