Q: Will this upper fit on a standard Bushmaster XM-15 Patrollman Carabine lower?

A: All our AR15 uppers require a MIL-Spec AR15 Lower, so Bushmaster XM15 is a mil-spec lower so there should be no issues.

A: Sorry, YMH doesn't make their handguards piston compatible.

Q: does the newer magpul SL hand guard fit on this upper?

A: It is not a drop in fit. It would require some material to be removed so it would fit around the gas block
