A: No it's not compatible with a PSA KS47 Lower, it requires a mil-spec AR-15 Lower.

A: Approximately 2000 to 2100 feet per second and you lose about 50 feet per second velocity for every 1" that you reduce the length of the barrel.

Q: Will the bolt in this upper reciever assembly clear an AK-47 magazine if I use it with an MGI modular lower reciever?

A: No, it will not. A mil-spec AR-15 upper receiver will not fit on an MGI lower and a mil-spec AR-15 bolt carrier will not clear any lower that takes AK magazines.

A: Sorry this wasn't answered sooner. No it will not. AR-15 bolt carriers will not work with a platform of rifles that accept AK mags. The bolt carriers dimensions of these two platforms are machined differently.
