7.62x39 C.A.P.S. Carbine Piston Upper with Troy Bravo Handguard

If you are looking for a reliable, precision made upper for the 7.62 x 39 look no further. I was looking for a piston upper that would be reliable with and without a suppressor and came upon Black Rifle Arms. I initially spoke with Tresa who was very helpful and knowledgeable about everything relating to these systems. After purchasing the upper Charles called me personally to describe the gas piston system in detail. I set it to the proper setting and the upper ate through wolf ammo with and without my Kestrel suppressor flawlessly. It even ate through the lacquered ammo that my PWS diablo couldn't handle! This is a great piece of machinery and Charles has done the impossible in designing a reliable AR chambered in 7.62 x 39. I'm an AK guy and have been shooting AK's for years. So naturally when I decided to put together an AR, I went with. 7.62x39. After loads of research I settled on the C.A.P.S system and waited eagerly for it to get released. I love this rifle, I shoot it every weekend. Charles and Teresa were very easy to deal with and Charles called me personally to talk through some problems I was having with ammo . Communication was great , quality is on par with price. I am a very satisfied customer.

So far I have put a little over 500 rounds through the upper without a single problem (save the one light primer strike, but that was a spring issue). The piston system and the nickel boron coated BCG makes cleaning a breeze, and the polymer buffer on the BCG really does mitigate some recoil. I have absolutely zero complaints and couldn't be happier with my purchase. If you want a quality upper, this is worth every penny.
