Black Rifle Arms Enhanced Firing Pins Are Engineered to Maintain Mil-Spec Characteristic Where the Firing Pin Interfaces Inside the Bolt and Still Allow Greater Protrusion Into the Primer
Black Rifle Arms® is one of the original manufacturer's of Enhanced Firing Pins with over 13 years of redesigning our enhanced firing pins to ensure positive ignition on notorious hardened primers found in the 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 steel case ammunition.
The ENHANCED PLUS FIRING PIN allows the greatest protrusion of any Enhanced and/or Extended Firing Pin on the market. Our Enhanced PLUS Firing Pin was designed to overcome some ammunition that have deep set primers that original enhanced and/or extended firing pins can not ignite. Due to this we redesigned an enhanced plus firing pin that will allow for further protrusion due to these deep set primers. Using enhanced plus firing pins can cause pierce primers with ammunition that do not have deep set primers, it's advised when switching ammunition to check spent casings for pierced primers. If pierced primers is noted please switch back original enhanced firing pin. Pierced primers can erode firing pin tip with continual use.
