Q: What are the weights of your H2 and E buffers?

A: We are no longer making the PDW H2 Buffer weight. E-Series Heavy Buffer and Spring (The Heavy now features a black bumper) is our new and improved E-Series 4oz. Heavy Buffer. Due to the design of acting as a dead blow hammer we can make it lighter than the PDW H2 (4.6oz) and create a better product in how it gradually shifts the weight inside the buffer creating a smoother feel over a one piece tungsten that slams all at once. With lots of R&D and being the patent holder of the PDW Buffer/Springs we are shifting to what we feel is superior in performance which is now our PDW E-Series Buffers. It has replaced the PDW H2 buffer. We have a video on our Bolt Carrier Page that shows Charles running our BCG with the E-Series 3 oz buffer running an FRT and runs fine and our E-Series Heavy is 4 oz.https://www.blackriflearms.com/ENHANCED-BOLT-CARRIERS-_c_10.html

We no longer making the PDW H2 Buffer weight, but replacing them with our new E-Series Heavy Buffer and Spring (The Heavy now features a black bumper) is our new and improved E-Series 4oz. A: It's compatible but you would need to use our PDW Spring and buffer as Kak's spring is not compatible with our buffer.

Q: Will this buffer work with CMMG's Compact Ripstock, the one with the 5 position, 5.75" buffer tube and sometimes referred to as the Micro/CQB Ripstock? The CMMG product number is Product #45CA917. I would like try a heavier buffer in this proprietary system, their buffer is 2.125" and I believe it to be Carbine weight or approx. 3.2oz. Their buffer spring is shorter length, no.surprises there. Also, their buffer tube is 5.75" in length as previously stated. Thanks in advanced. John

A: We believe it would work but not 100%, but I spoke with Charles and he said if you want to purchase it and test it out and if it doesn't work we would send you a return shipping label and have you return it for a full refund...it would cost you no return cost or restocking fees so if it doesn't work you are not out of monies. All he ask is if it does work please let us know and we will update our website to include this stock that our kit works with it. Thank you.
