Optimized Carrier Key Screws (OCKS)

The Optimized Carrier Key Screws (OCKS) were designed due to inferior staking screws with little to no knurling causing inferior metal on metal contact which allows for standard gas key screws to loosen during firing. OCKS allows for far more superior staking than standard gas key screws with more surface metal on metal creating a far superior staking over standard gas key screws.

OCKS Screws provide proper staking which is crucial to reliable operation and an improper staked carrier key can become loose under firing, and can cause a firearm to malfunction in the field making the firearm inoperable.

Ned Christiansen OKCS cap screws have sharp, deep, and effective knurling with 12 deeper splines. When staking the OCKS screws it allows for gas key metal material to grip into the space of the OCKS CAP screw splines allowing for superior staking with metal on metal contact.
