Q: Do you have an AR 15 / M16 bolt carrier for a piston rifle 223 / 5.56. I only see one for a DI gun. Please advise, thx.

Asked by: Gunny Santana - 10/27/2020
A: We do not sell our piston carrier as a standalone. Our patented piston carrier is exclusive to our company and is specifically designed for our piston systems specifications and tolerances. Piston carriers are not drop in carriers like your AR-15 Direct Impingement Carriers; therefore, each manufacturer’s piston carriers are not compatible with each other.

Q: For what caliber is this?

Asked by: Carlos Del Real - 10/25/2020
A: It's not specific to any caliber as it's an AR-15 bolt carrier with key. A customer will need to add their own AR-15 small components (bolt assembly, firing pin, cam pin, firing pin retaining pin) to make it a complete bolt carrier group, so they can choose to use this for a 5.56, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 300 Black Out, 6.5 Grendel build or any AR-15 caliber that utilizes an AR-154 Bolt Carrier.

Asked by: Jose Rojas - 8/2/2020
A: They are in production now, I have no current ETA as the NiB coating can take a couple of weeks alone. If I had to guess I'd say about 4 weeks, but that's an estimate. If you put yourself on the notification list you will get notified as soon as we list them back in stock.

Q: Is this compatible with the ruger sr556?

Asked by: Paul - 11/26/2014
A: Thank you for your question. The answer is it won't work with the Ruger SR556. The Ruger SR556 is a piston system and requires Ruger's 1-pc carrier that is specced to their piston system. This carrier with key is a standard carrier that we offer for direct impingement rifles. We do use a 1-pc carrier with buffer technology on our piston carriers; however, they are not for individual resale as they are specced for use with only our piston systems.
