Q: Will this bolt carrier run with a Fostech echo or Rare Breed frt? Asking for a friend.
A: Our bolt carrier will run with any drop in AR-15 triggers.
Q: 556 or 762x39?
I need 762x39
A: This product is just for the bolt carrier that you add your own small parts to so this bolt carrier can be made into any AR-15 caliber from 556 to 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 300BLK, 6.5 Grendel, 6.8 SPC by adding that calibers bolt assembly. If you are looking for a Bolt Carrier Group and you are needing a 7.62x39 this is what you want: https://www.blackriflearms.com/M16-AR-15-762x39-Enhanced-Bolt-Carrier-Group-with-Buffer-Technology_p_17.html
Q: Is this a complete bolt carrier group?
A: No this is just the bolt carrier that a customer would add their own bolt assembly parts to. If you are looking for a bolt carrier group you will need to click on the product that states either 5.56x45 Bolt Carrier Group, 7.62x39 Bolt Carrier Group or 6.5 Grendel Bolt Carrier Group.
Q: Does this bolt carrier come with a cam pin and firing pin retainer?
A: No, it comes with what is picture the bolt carrier and key. If you are looking for a bolt carrier group we sell those as complete BCG or if you need small parts for the bolt carrier you can visit our UPPER PARTS and click on Bolt Assembly and Parts tab.
Q: Will this work for an 7.62x39 ar-15 upper?
A: Yes it will, we actually use these to do our 7.62x39 Bolt Carrier Groups found in our online store and use them in our DI Upper Builds.
Q: Do you have an AR 15 / M16 bolt carrier for a piston rifle 223 / 5.56. I only see one for a DI gun. Please advise, thx.
A: We do not sell our piston carrier as a standalone. Our patented piston carrier is exclusive to our company and is specifically designed for our piston systems specifications and tolerances. Piston carriers are not drop in carriers like your AR-15 Direct Impingement Carriers; therefore, each manufacturer’s piston carriers are not compatible with each other.
Q: For what caliber is this?
A: It's not specific to any caliber as it's an AR-15 bolt carrier with key. A customer will need to add their own AR-15 small components (bolt assembly, firing pin, cam pin, firing pin retaining pin) to make it a complete bolt carrier group, so they can choose to use this for a 5.56, 7.62x39, 5.45x39, 300 Black Out, 6.5 Grendel build or any AR-15 caliber that utilizes an AR-154 Bolt Carrier.
Q: When will this item be back in stock? Planning to use in a 458 SOCOM build...will it work well in that application?
A: They are in production now, I have no current ETA as the NiB coating can take a couple of weeks alone. If I had to guess I'd say about 4 weeks, but that's an estimate. If you put yourself on the notification list you will get notified as soon as we list them back in stock.
Q: will this Carrier work with the Law Tactical folding stock assembly that has the extension that fits in the rear of a standard carrier ?
A: No it's not. Under our Disclaimer Tab we have it listed that our bolt carriers are not compatible with folding stocks.
Q: Will this work in a 300 blackout pistol upper
A: Yes it will, just add your small AR-15 bcg parts.
Q: What is the inner diameter for the rear opening on your carriers? Asking for both the buffer and rear of the carrier where buffer is inserted?
A: Smallest diameter on the polymer buffer is 3/8" and the back of the carrier opening is mil-spec.
Q: Is it possible to convert these BC to piston or is best to get a piston dedicated BC?
A: It is always best to stick with a piston dedicated bolt carrier. Aftermarket piston gas key converters will shear off.
Q: will this work with a std. gas system AR
A: Yes, this bolt carrier will work with any AR-15 Mil-Spec Standard Direct Impingement upper/rifle. We use these bolt carriers in our direct impingement uppers we sell on our site.
Q: Need BCG FOR AR 762x39 cal
A: The link for the 7.62x39 BCG is here: https://blackriflearms.com/M16-AR-15-762x39-Enhanced-Bolt-Carrier-Group-with-Buffer-Technology_p_17.html
Q: Is everything complete except for the bolt? I have an extra bolt but didn't see anything about firing pin etc
A: This item is only the bolt carrier. Small parts that make up the bolt carrier group would need to be purchased separately.
Q: Is this compatible with the ruger sr556?
A: Thank you for your question. The answer is it won't work with the Ruger SR556. The Ruger SR556 is a piston system and requires Ruger's 1-pc carrier that is specced to their piston system. This carrier with key is a standard carrier that we offer for direct impingement rifles. We do use a 1-pc carrier with buffer technology on our piston carriers; however, they are not for individual resale as they are specced for use with only our piston systems.
