Q: Do your barrels come with a dimple for the gas block?

Asked by: Dune - 8/27/2024
A: We do not as the dimple as it leaves a bare metal and dimpling is used to center the gas blocks. A lot of gas blocks screws have cupped screws which when installing will dig into the barrel. Dimple does not cause a gas block to stay on, it's the actual cupped screws and proper torqueing that will prevent gas block from coming loose.

Q: Was looking to pair your 7.62x39 11.5 barrel to a mill spec aero precision upper receiver, I emailed aero precision and their receivers require a 1” mill spec barrel extension, will this barrel accommodate that receiver?

Asked by: Tim branch - 3/12/2020
A: Without knowing what upper receiver you are interested in we are unable to answer your question as Aero Precision manufacturers several upper receivers: M4E1 Enhanced Uppers, M4E1 Threaded Uppers, standard Mil-Spec Uppers.

Can you please email: [email protected] with a link to the upper and that will allow us to know which upper you are looking at so we can get your question answer correctly. Thank You.
