Q: do u know if this bolt with its 0.136 HS can be used as a replacement bolt in the colt sporter 7.62x39, which uses colts original design 7.62x39 bolt with a HS of 0.136

Asked by: vernon frilot - 6/27/2019
A: If your 7.62x39 Colt Sporter's chamber is .136" then you will need a Bolt Assembly with the .136" Bolt Face. This bolt should work with your 7.62x39 that is chambered for .136".

Q: What is the life expectancy of this bolt .I know the thinner bolt face is a weak point. I also know that can be overcome with better steel.

Asked by: Motorcitymadman - 3/2/2019
A: LIfe expectancy varies; however, our bolt maker said with their testing they get between 3,000 to 5,000 and usually that is an extractor failure which one can replace.
